12月19日,应建筑与土木工程学院和国际教育学院邀请,韩国汉阳大学ERICA校区建筑工程学院的Ahn Yong Han与Kim Tae Soo教授在谭山书院博雅讲堂为建筑与土木工程学院全体硕士生和国际教育学院土木工程专业本科生作学术报告,报告会分别由建筑与土木工程学院院长周葆春、国际教育学院院长刘林超主持。
Ahn Yong Han教授报告题目为“Smart Construction Approaches and Technologies”,Ahn教授在报告中全面地介绍了智能建造在韩国建筑行业中的广泛应用场景,他指出智能建造是在建筑物和基础设施的规划、设计、施工和运营中整合建筑信息模型BIM、人工智能AI、物联网IoT、自动化、机器人等先进技术、数字工具的创新实践,以达到提高效率、节约成本、提高质量、增强安全性和节能环保的目的。
Kim Tae Soo教授报告题目为“Seismic retrofits on building (2017 Pohang Earthquake) and seismic resilient steel structures in building”,Kim教授在报告中介绍了韩国2016年庆州地震、2017年浦项地震的受灾情况和抗震修复案例,详细讲解了建筑结构韧性的定义以及基于韧性的钢结构抗震设计方法,并展示了他所领导的研究团队关于作为韧性材料的不锈钢构件及其阻尼器的最新研究成果。
在互动环节,Ahn教授与Kim教授认真解答了师生所提出的学术问题以及赴韩国攻读硕博士学位的相关问题,现场气氛热烈。
报告会后,韩国汉阳大学ERICA校区建筑工程学院Lee Han Seung教授、Lee Kang Seok教授、Ahn Yong Han教授、Kim Tae Soo教授在建工学院院长周葆春、副院长肖琪聃、副院长袁晓辉的陪同下参观了河南省新型环保土木工程材料工程研究中心、河南省非饱和土与特殊土工程技术研究中心实验室,并就双方的学术交流与合作、本科生与研究生培养等议题展开热烈的探讨,达成了加深与加强合作的共识。
Dr. Yong Han Ahn is a Professor in the Department of Architecture and Architectural Engineering at Hanyang University ERICA in South Korea, where he has been teaching since 2014. He holds a Ph.D. in Construction from Virginia Tech, as well as two Master’s degrees in Community Planning and Building Science from Auburn University, and a Bachelor’s in Building Construction Management from Purdue University. Dr. Ahn's research interests include sustainable construction, green building design, senior housing for the elderly, modular construction, and the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Dr. Ahn has published three books and over 100 journal articles. He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Best Poster Award at the SB13 Seoul Conference and the Best Presentation Award at the Korea Institute of Building Construction Conference. Dr. Ahn is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the U.S. Green Building Council. Additionally, he serves as the editor for the Journal of Building Construction and Planning Research (JBCPR).
Professor TaeSoo Kim is a faculty member in the Department of Architectural Engineering at Hanyang University ERICA, South Korea, where he has been a professor since March 2022. He previously served as a professor at Hanbat National University from 2016 to 2022. Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, with a focus on steel structures and finite element analysis. His research interests include structural analysis and design of steel structures, seismic behavior of steel frames, fire safety for steel structures, and advanced finite element modeling techniques using ABAQUS. Dr. Kim has taught a wide range of courses, including steel structures, structural design, and finite element analysis, and has published extensively in international journals. He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Colorado and the University of Washington, USA. In addition to his academic career, Dr. Kim is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Korean Society of Steel Construction and the Architectural Institute of Korea. He serves as a reviewer and associate editor for various academic journals, including the International Journal of Steel Structures and Thin-Walled Structures.
