报告题目:新加坡NEWARER深渠道工程及水处理技术研究

报告摘要:The development of the world economy heavily relies on clean water and energy including Singapore, where these are scarce resources hence restricting its further development. Conventional NF/RO filtration membranes are heavily used for producing drinking water with a small footprint size. However, these membranes have high fouling problems, particular organic and biofouling resulting in high cost of drinking water production. In addition, a huge amount of electricity that is needed for membrane water production is another obstacle. This obstacle paints an image of being ‘energy expensive’ thus possesses a major challenge with the need to curb greenhouse gases. There is urgent need to invent a new generation membrane which will be able to solve these existing problems, thus maintaining our people’s living standard and keeping the fast pace of our country’s economic development. The graphene-based nanocomposite multifunctional NF membrane is the next generation membranes that will replace those polymer-based membrane currently widely used in water industries. As the new generation membrane will not have a fouling problem, it will be able to produce drinking water of higher quality and concurrently disinfection thus eliminating the cost of water production and chemical usage together with waste minimization.
报告人简介:赵子龙,中山大学化学工程与技术学院副研究员,主要研究方向为纳米功能材料。本科和博士毕业太原理工大学材料成型和材料科学系,博士后工作于重庆大学土木工程学院,师从中国工程院院士王一德。海外履历:南洋理工大学土木与环境学院研究员和新加坡国立大学材料科学与工程学院高级访问学者。获中国质量协会优秀技术奖1项。高水平期刊论文SCI收录50余篇(5篇TOP期刊),H指数15。中南大学学报青年编委,合金与化合物期刊、国际电化学期刊、薄膜制备工程期刊、有色金属学报期刊主审稿人。
